COUNT DOWN TO CHRISTMAS

This tip is for these cute Wreath Cookies.  The original post I found these at online did not have a recipe, so I came up with my own.  The cookies are simple sugar cookies.  I used a package, but you could make them from scratch or even use the ready made kind.  For the icing and toppings you will need the following ingredients:
1 box powdered sugar (1 lb)
2 T evaporated milk
1/4 tsp lemon extract
2 T melted butter
Rind & Juice of 1 lemon
Drops of boiling water to thin
Craisins chopped
Pistachios chopped


Bake your cookies and allow to completely cool.  Mix together all ingredients above except Craisins & Pistacios.  Using water to thin until consistency is like a thick glaze.  Ice cooled cookies and sprinkle with chopped Craisins & Pistacios.
